November 29, 2023 6:06 amTürkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased year on year in September by 2.7% to 95,012 tons, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Tuesday.
EMRA’s LPG market report showed the country’s LPG imports increased by 22.1% to 333,713 tons in September, with imports from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan and Greece.
The country’s LPG exports also increased by 58.4% to 41,281 tons during the same month.
The top ten destinations that Türkiye exported LPG to were Bulgaria, Switzerland, Austria, Romania, Lebanon, Greece, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Ukraine, Croatia and the Turkish Free Zones.
Meanwhile, total LPG sales reached 374,435 million tons.
