Türkiye’s LPG production up 18.6% in July 2024

 

​​​​​​​Türkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 18.6% to 87,573 tons in July 2024 compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Monday.

EMRA’s LPG market report showed that the country’s LPG imports decreased by 7.13% to 306,937 tons in July, with the majority of imports from Algeria, US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Rwanda, Libya and İtaly.

The country’s LPG exports decreased by 52.65% year on year to 17,957 tons in July.

Türkiye exported LPG to Germany, Lebanon, Ukraine, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Singapore and Türkiye’s Free Trade Zone.

Total LPG sales reached 377,464 tons in July.
