Türkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production increased by 12.3% to 92,841 tons in November 2024, compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Thursday.
EMRA’s LPG market report showed that the country’s LPG imports increased by 22%, reaching 320,420 tons in November 2024, with the majority of imports coming from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
While the country’s LPG exports fell by 12.2% year-on-year, to 92,841 tons in November 2024.
The top ten destinations for Türkiye’s LPG exports were Switzerland, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, the UAE, Ukraine, Lebanon, Romania, Northern Cyprus, and Türkiye’s free zones.
Total LPG sales reached 322,445 tons in November 2024.
