October 29, 2024 4:35 pmTürkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased by 14.2% to 82,864 tons in August, compared to the same month in 2023, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Monday.
LPG imports in the country decreased by 4.22% to 375,052 tons in August, with the majority of imports from Algeria, US, Russia, Nigeria, Senegal, Kazakhstan, Georgia and UAE.
The country’s LPG exports increased by 142% year on year to 45,957 tons in August.
Türkiye exported LPG to Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria, UAE, Lebanon, Greece, Germany, Seychelles, Switzerland, Denmark and Türkiye’s Free Trade Zone.
Total LPG sales reached 386,667 tons in August.
