September 16, 2026 7:50 amTürkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports fell 4.6% year-on-year to 302,830 tons in July, according to data from the country’s energy regulator.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s July LPG Market Sector Report showed that the Algeria, US, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Kazakhstan, and Greece were the top suppliers of LPG to Türkiye during the month.
The country’s LPG exports increased 32.9% year-on-year to 51,295 tons in July.
Türkiye exported LPG to nine countries and regions during the month, including the United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Romaina, the UK, Estonia, Singapore, Lebanon, and Türkiye’s Free Zones.
– Autogas dominates LPG sales
LPG production rose 7.2% year-on-year to 95,793 tons in July.
Total domestic LPG sales reached 354,222 tons in May.
Autogas accounted for 82.5% of total LPG sales, followed by bottled LPG with a 14.7% share and bulk LPG with 2.8%.
