Türkiye’s BIST 100 index ends Thursday up

ISTANBUL

Türkiye’s benchmark stock index ended Thursday at 11,073.27 points, up 0.94%.

Starting the day at 11,029.29 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 102.9 points from Tuesday’s close.

The lowest value of the index was 10,969.39, while the daily high was 11,108.07.

The market value of BIST 100 was around 10.3 trillion Turkish liras ($245.3 billion), with a trading volume of 154 billion liras ($3.65 billion).

Some 53 stocks on the index rose and 43 dropped, compared to the previous close.

Gold was $3,985.40 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $63.1 per barrel as of 7.10 pm local time (1610GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 42.1190, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate 48.6850, and the British pound traded for 55.3120 liras.
