Türkiye expresses condolences over deadly ferry accident in Syria

Türkiye on Sunday expressed sorrow over the loss of life in a ferry accident on the Euphrates River in Syria’s eastern Deir ez-Zor province.

In a statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry conveyed condolences to the families of those killed and to the Syrian people.

The ministry said Türkiye is providing support for search and rescue operations and will continue to stand in solidarity with the Syrian government and people.
