Turkish president holds phone call with Kyrgyz counterpart

ISTANBUL 

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke over the phone with his Kyrgyz counterpart Sadyr Japarov on Sunday.

During the phone call, Erdogan and Japarov touched on various topics, including bilateral relations, as well as global and regional matters, according to a statement issued by Türkiye’s Communications Directorate.

Erdogan also thanked Japarov for congratulating Türkiye on the successful conduct of local elections in the country on Sunday.
