Turkish foreign minister meets Iraqi parliament speaker

ISTANBUL

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met on Wednesday with Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq.

The meeting took place in Ankara, according to Türkiye’s Foreign​​​​​​​ Ministry. Further details were not immediately available.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had received Mashhadani at the Justice and Development (AK) Party headquarters in Ankara on Tuesday.
