Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan shared a video Tuesday highlighting the events she attended on the first day of her visit to New York for the 81st UN General Assembly.

“Protecting our world from the climate crisis and our children from the risks of the digital age requires solidarity that transcends borders and a shared responsibility toward the future,” Emine Erdogan, who is also chair of the UN Advisory Board of Eminent Persons on Zero Waste, said in a social media post.

The video featured footage from the opening event of New York Climate Week as well as an event titled Invisible Architecture: Building Safe Digital Systems for Children – Advancing International Standards and Shared Responsibility.

It also included footage from the 100 Years of Friendship: Türkiye – US event, which Emine Erdogan attended alongside President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
