Turkish firm Karmod delivers container site office for residential project

Turkish prefabricated-building firm Karmod has delivered a container site office to support construction of a residential project in the country’s southern city of Antalya, the company said Wednesday.

The two-story office in Kepez district covers 330 square meters and was completed in just three days, the company said.

“Karmod has focused on fast installation alongside safe, highly ergonomic structures in container mobilization, in line with investor expectations,” Soyalp said in a statement.

He said investors usually focus on three things when setting up a site: structural safety, ergonomic design to improve efficiency in offices and rest areas, and fast installation to prevent delays.

The office building was customized for the project, with laminate flooring installed throughout and tile applications used in wet areas such as toilets and washrooms, Soyalp said.

The container office will be used during the construction phase of a mixed-use residential project that includes 450 housing units and 430 commercial spaces.
