Turkish breakfast was promoted in Serbia’s capital Belgrade on Saturday as part of World Breakfast Day.
Serbian journalists, chefs, and social media figures attended the event organized by Türkiye’s Yunus Emre Institute, which promotes the Turkish language and culture abroad.
The guests were served dishes by chef Hazar Alici to sample a variety of food from the extremely rich and diverse Turkish breakfast culture.
Dinser Sahin, the institute’s local coordinator, said that Yunus Emre carries the reflections of Türkiye’s rich cultural heritage to regions all over the world.
Participants were given copies of the new book “Turkish Cuisine of Centennial Recipes,” as prepared under the leadership of Turkish first lady Emine Erdogan.
