5 Years After:

The United States Postal Service (USPS) launched a giant tender of $ 6.3 billion in 2015, covering a total of 180,000 vehicles. It was started to be voiced loudly that this tender called ‘New generation distribution vehicle’ resulted in favor of Karsan, one of the last 4 finalists. Even according to the allegations, according to the tender result expected to be announced soon, Karsan was to produce 100 thousand of 180 thousand vehicles and sign the final agreement on this matter soon.

New Factory in The United States:

Together we will wait and see the final result. I hope it takes place in favor of Karsan and Turkish automotive industry as I wrote. Meanwhile, Karsan’s partner is building a new factory in Virginia with Morgan Olson. The US company, which announced that it will hire 703 people from May, plans to start production in the second half of the year. Production will be carried out with Karsan at the factory. The plans are based on both producing vehicles for USPS and producing Karsan’s electric gesture model for the USA.
