The trade volume on Türkiye’s spot natural gas market showed an increase of around 44.3% to 57.67 million Turkish liras on Friday, Türkiye’s Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Saturday.
Total trade on Thursday amounted to around 39.95 million liras.
On Friday’s spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 12,513.03 liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 4.65 million cubic meters.
Türkiye received 215.38 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Friday.
US$1 equals 37.87 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Saturday.
