August 14, 2023 2:01 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,700 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. (1600 – 1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,847.49 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Monday’s electricity market showed an increase of 20.2% to around 1.47 billion liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,416.53 liras and 2,440 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,592.69 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed as 1,500 liras at 4 a.m. (0100 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 27.05 liras at 2.19 p.m. local time (1119 GMT) on Monday.
