Spot market electricity prices for Tuesday April 9

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Tuesday will be 2,500.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Monday.

The lowest rate was set at 110.85 liras at 12 a.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Tuesday’s electricity market shows an decrease of 34.66% to around 558 million liras compared to Monday.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Monday was set at 2,672.00 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 130 liras at 12 a.m. local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 32.09 liras at 2.31 p.m. local time (1131GMT) on Monday.
