Spot market electricity prices for Thursday, July 28

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,750 Turkish liras between 9.00 and 11.00 a.m., and between 2.00 and 4.00 p.m. local times (0600-0800 GMT and 1100-1300 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.

The lowest rate is determined as 2,199.99 liras at 3.00 a.m. and 6.00 a.m. local times (0000 and 0300 GMT), the figures showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed an decrease of 8.1% to 1.62 billion liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,997.62 liras and 3,054.21 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,750 liras between 8.00 and 11.00 a.m., and between 1.00 and 9.00 p.m. local times (0500-0800 GMT and 1000-1800 GMT), while the lowest rate is determined as 2,379 liras at 7.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), according to the official figures.

US$1 equals 17.89 liras at 02.13 p.m. local time (1113 GMT) on Wednesday.
