July 19, 2023 9:02 amThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,700 Turkish liras at 9 p.m. (1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,649.99 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed an increase of 3.6% to 1.18 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,164.47 liras and 2,175.73 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,390 liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,602.99 liras at 6 a.m. (0300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.91 liras at 2.26 p.m. local time (1126 GMT) on Wednesday.
