August 2, 2023 2:50 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 2,613.15 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,650 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 6.49% to around 1.27 billion liras compared to Tuesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,277.40 liras and 2,305.05 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 2,652.71 liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,887.15 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.97 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Wednesday.
