August 28, 2024 2:00 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1200 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Wednesday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,999.98 liras at 6 a.m., 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. local time (0300, 0400 and 0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday’s electricity market shows an increase of 1.1% to around 1.87 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,618.77 liras and 2,636.60 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1200 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,999.98 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 34.03 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Wednesday.
