July 22, 2023 3:25 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,650.00 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,399.99 liras at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (1100 and 1300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed a decrease of 12.4% to 1.19 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,030.42 liras and 2,034.69 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,499.99 liras at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. (1600 and 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,649.98 liras at 7 a.m. (0400 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.98 liras at 2.36 p.m. local time (1136 GMT) on Saturday.
