February 8, 2025 2:28 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 2,799.01 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. local time (1500 and 1600 GMT), according to official figures on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 863,63 liras at 12 p.m. (0900 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 12.6% to 1.32 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,194.41 liras and 2,209.56 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,799.01 Turkish liras at 6 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 1,874.99 liras at 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. local time (0900 and 1000 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 35.88 liras at 14.00 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Saturday.
