The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Sunday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released on Saturday.
The lowest rate is set at 549.99 liras at 11 a.m. local time (0800 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Sunday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 18.8% to around 1.36 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 2,312.77 liras and 2,353.35 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Saturday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,864.99 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT).
US$1 equals 37.87 liras at 2.16 p.m. local time (1116 GMT) on Saturday.
