The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,800 Turkish liras at 08.00, 09.00 a.m and 05.00, 06.00 p.m, according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate is set as 2,499.97 liras at 04.00, 05.00 and 06.00 a.m. local time (0100, 0200 and 0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Sunday’s electricity market showed an increase of 16.6% to 1.72 billion liras compared to Saturday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 3,921.57 liras and 4,002.29 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set as 4,800 Turkish liras at 6.00-8.00 p.m. (15.00-1700 GMT), while the lowest rate is designated as 2,222.66 liras at 12.00 a.m. local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 18.58 liras at 2.05 p.m. local time (1105 GMT) on Sunday.
