May 3, 2026 5:34 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 4,500 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1700 and 1800 GMT), according to official figures released Sunday.
The lowest rate is set at 133.01 liras between 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Monday’s electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 1,417% to around 651.9 million liras compared to Sunday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 1,059.46 liras and 1,333.38 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Sunday was set at 200 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was at 0 (zero) liras between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. local time (0400-1200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 45.14 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Sunday.
