July 23, 2023 2:52 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Monday will be 2,499.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Sunday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,500 liras at 5 p.m. (1400 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Saturday’s electricity market showed an increase of 4.8% to 1.68 billion liras compared to Friday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,958.44 liras and 1,974.17 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Saturday was set at 2,650.00 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was confirmed at 1,399.99 liras at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. (1100 and 1300 GMT), according to official figures.
US$1 equals 26.98 liras at 2.27 p.m. local time (1127 GMT) on Saturday.
