September 7, 2023 1:20 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,300.01 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 1,499.99 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 4.7% around 1.12 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,963.77 liras and 1,977.92 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,441.41 liras at 7 p.m. (1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined at 1,600.01 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT).
US$1 equals 26.83 liras at 2.17 p.m. local time (1117 GMT) on Thursday.
