August 22, 2024 2:09 pmThe highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye’s day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,960 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,000 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday’s electricity market shows a decrease of 3.1% to around 1.86 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,630.24 liras and 2,653.87 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,000 Turkish liras between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (1400 – 1800 GMT), while the lowest rate was set at 1,999 liras at 7 a.m. local time (0400 GMT).
US$1 equals 33.93 liras at 2.24 p.m. local time (1124 GMT) on Thursday.
