Premiere Turkish technology event attracts 943,000 visitors

ANKARA

Türkiye’s premiere technology and aerospace event TEKNOFEST was visited by 943,000 people last week, organizer T3 Foundation stated on social media on Monday.

The five-day event, which ran from Wednesday to Sunday in the capital Ankara, hosted a wide array of attractions, including air shows, competitions, workshops, and exhibitions.

The Ankara edition followed the event’s first gathering in 2023, which was held in the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul in April.

The third edition of the event will be organized in the country’s Aegean city of Izmir at the end of this month.

TEKNOFEST has been held in various Turkish cities outside of Istanbul in even years and in the metropolis in odd years, but to mark the centenary of the Republic of Türkiye in 2023, the event has been planned in three different provinces.

Anadolu, a Turkish news service provider, has been the event’s global communications partner since its inception in 2018.
