Anadolu’s ‘reporter drone’ flies at TEKNOFEST

The “reporter drone,” produced by Anadolu, was introduced Wednesday at TEKNOFEST in the southern city of Adana.

Visitors to Türkiye’s premier technology event are given details about the drone which was flown by the Anadolu Drone Racing Team.

The drone, which has a dual camera feature, offers users the opportunity to produce live broadcasts.

It provides convenience on long-distance flights with a speed feature and was designed at a lower cost than other products in its class.

The team’s drone pilot, Emrullah Yilmaz, said it has been used by Anadolu reporters for news follow-ups.

He said the drone can move easily indoors and outdoors, and the team’s goal is to eliminate Anadolu’s dependence on foreign drones and to enable its staff to use drones in the field with better reflexes.

The reporter drone was also designed to enter narrower areas to provide advantages to reporters, he noted.

TEKNOFEST will run until Sunday.​​​​​​​
