LONDON
A long-awaited report into multiple allegations against British Deputy Premier Dominic Raab was handed to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, his spokesperson confirmed on Thursday.
The prime minister received the report this morning and “is carefully considering the findings,” the spokesperson told local media.
Raab, who is also justice secretary, is facing eight formal complaints about his behavior as a minister and he asked for an investigation after the allegations surfaced last November.
The spokesperson did not give a time when the report prepared by independent investigator Adam Tolley will be published.
Raab is a close ally of Sunak, who appointed him as deputy premier and justice secretary.
An MP for Esher and Walton, Raab was sacked as justice secretary and deputy prime minister when Liz Truss became the prime minister last year.
