Turkish police arrested at least two suspected Daesh/ISIS terrorists, security sources said Wednesday.
Anti-terror police in the central province of Yozgat nabbed the Iraqi nationals who are suspected of being members of the terror group, said sources, who asked not to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.
Türkiye became one of the first countries in 2013 to declare Daesh/ISIS a terror organization.
The nation has since been attacked by the terror group multiple times, with more than 300 victims killed and hundreds more injured in at least 10 suicide bombings, seven bomb attacks and four armed attacks.
Türkiye launched anti-terror operations at home and abroad in response to prevent additional attacks.
