Zelenskyy introduces sanctions against Syria’s Assad

MOSCOW

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday introduced sanctions against 141 entities and 300 individuals, including Syria’s Bashar al Assad.

The relevant decree was published on the official website.

The sanctions, which mostly targeted Russian and Iranian citizens and companies, included blocking of assets, trade restrictions and suspension of economic and financial obligations.
