Leicester City attacker Jamie Vardy became the first English Premier League player to score 100 goals after the age of 30.

In Leicester’s 4-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday, Leicester veteran replaced Patson Daka in the 61st minute to net his historic goal.

Vardy was followed by Ian Wright, who scored 93 goals after the age of 30, while Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was third on the list with 84 goals.

Vardy, 35, joined to Leicester from League One club Fleetwood Town in 2012 and netted 165 goals and made 67 assists in 397 appearances.

He was one of the key players in Leicester City’s surprise 2016 Premier League championship.
