ISTANBUL
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on Saturday discussed bilateral relations, regional cooperation, and future meetings, according to a statement issued by the Uzbekistan Presidency.
During their phone conversation, the two leaders emphasized the importance of accelerating joint projects in the economic, trade, investment, and humanitarian sectors.
They also discussed plans for upcoming high-level meetings and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation within regional organizations such as the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
