Utah Jazz announced Monday the signing of Turkish player Omer Yurtseven.
“The Utah Jazz have signed center Omer Yurtseven. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released,” Utah Jazz said in a statement.
The 25-year-old center previously played for Fenerbahce and Miami Heat.
Yurtseven, who is entering his third NBA season, spent two campaigns (2021-23) with the Miami Heat.
“During the 2021-22 campaign, the 25-year-old totaled 11 double-figure scoring outings, including two 20-plus point outings and eight double-doubles. He’s appeared in 17 postseason contests in two seasons,” Jazz added.
He averaged 5.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 65 career games for Miami.
