US house prices annually surged 4.8% in January, from a year ago, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) said Tuesday.
The figure followed a year-on-year hike of 4.8% in December.
On a monthly basis, house prices rose 0.2% in January, in line with market estimates, and following an upwardly revised 0.5% increase.
