Uber Filed For ‘Grant Workers’ Right

NEW YORK, NY

Stating that both companies show drivers registered in their systems as independent business owners rather than their own employees, state officials stated that both companies avoid their obligations as employers in favor of workplace safety rules and drivers.

Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego cities within the state borders were reported to have joined the lawsuit filed by the State of California.

Thus, a lawsuit was filed against the San Francisco-based company from his own home.

It is noted that plaintiff local governments and workers organizations in the USA complain that institutions working with the sharing economy model such as Uber and Lyft do not apply any security procedures to those registered in their systems and do not pay the basic rights of workers such as overtime pay.

Within the scope of the lawsuit filed, the legal definitions of such billion dollar initiatives are changed and they are asked to see the people registered in their systems as their own employees.
