UAE’s ADNOC Gas says operations running normally, adjusts output amid Hormuz disruption

Abu Dhabi-based ADNOC Gas said Monday that its operations are running normally across its facilities after debris fell near some sites without causing injuries or damage to key processing systems.

The natural gas arm of the United Arab Emirates’ state oil company, ADNOC Gas said inspections confirmed no impact on core processing integrity, adding that operations continue safely across its asset base, according to a stock exchange disclosure.

Amid ongoing shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz, ADNOC Gas said it has made temporary adjustments to the output of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and export-traded liquids.

“The Company is actively collaborating with customers and partners on a transaction-by-transaction basis to fulfill commitments wherever possible,” it added.

Regional tensions in the Middle East have continued to escalate since the start of joint attacks by the US and Israel on Iran on Feb. 28, prompting retaliatory drone and missile strikes by Tehran targeting Israel and other countries hosting US assets.
