Natural gas flow through both lines of the TurkStream pipeline will temporarily halt between June 5 and 12 for annual maintenance, Russian energy company Gazprom announced on Friday.
The scheduled maintenance was in line with the agreement with all stakeholders, the company said.
Stretching from Russia to Türkiye across the Black Sea, the dual lines hold a total capacity of 31.5 billion cubic meters (bcm). The first line, with a capacity of 15.75 bcm, is designated for supplies to domestic customers in Türkiye, and the second line, with another 15.75 bcm of capacity, carries Russian gas further to Europe through Bulgaria.
