Türkiye’s Sengun makes NBA history by becoming youngest center with 30 points

ANKARA 

The Houston Rockets’ Turkish player Alperen Sengun made NBA history by becoming the youngest center with his 33 points, 15 rebounds, and six assists against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.

The game ended 140-132 in favor of the Lakers, with Sengun passing 30 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists mark, surpassing Shaquille O’Neal’s record.

Shaq set the previous record at age 21 and 31 days in the 1992-93 season, while Sengun achieved the feat at 20 years, 175 days old.

LA Lakers are placed 13th in Western Conference with 20 wins and 24 losses, while the Rockets lay at the 15th spot with 10 wins and 34 losses.
