Türkiye’s LPG production down 4.2% in January

Türkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production declined by 4.2% to 77,402 tons in January, compared to the same month in 2024, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Thursday.

EMRA’s LPG market report showed that the country’s LPG imports fell by 4.2%, reaching 263,045 tons in January, with the majority of imports coming from Algeria, Russia, the US, Georgia, and Kazakhstan.

While the country’s LPG exports rose by 47.7% year-on-year, to 64,789 tons in January.

The top eleven destinations for Türkiye’s LPG exports were Switzerland, Greece, Marshall Islands, Ukraine, Bulgaria, England, Romania, Poland, Singapore, Lebanon and Türkiye.

Total LPG sales reached 315,523 tons in January.
