April 30, 2023 5:54 amTürkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) production decreased year on year in February by 30.74% to 59,342 tons, according to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) latest report on Sunday.
EMRA’s LPG Market Report showed the country’s LPG imports increased by 43.29% to 287,837 tons in February, with imports from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Nigeria and Romania.
The country’s LPG exports decreased by 33.34% to 31,991 tons during the same month. The top five countries that Türkiye exported LPG to were Lebanon, Switzerland, Romania, the Seychelles, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Bulgaria, Turkish Free Zones.
Meanwhile, total LPG sales reached 327,168 million tons, of which 71.09% came from autogas sales, 15.33% from bulk LPG and 13.58% from bottled LPG.
