Türkiye’s liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 1.1% to 288,439 tonnes in October compared to the same month in 2021, according to the latest data from the country’s energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority’s (EMRA) data showed the country’s imports originated from Algeria, the US, Russia, Kazakhstan, Norway, Romania, and Greece.
LPG production in October also increased to 93,627 tonnes, marking a year-on-year growth of 1.56%.
Additionally, exports rose to around 29,968 tonnes in October, showing an increase of 47.8% compared to the same month last year.
Total LPG sales in October increased by 1.01% to around 358,483 tonnes, comprising 283,103 tonnes of autogas, 55,421 tonnes of bottled LPG and 19,958 tonnes of bulk LPG.
