Türkiye’s iconic bridge illuminated in Brazilian colors for 200th independence anniversary

ISTANBUL

Istanbul’s Fatih Sultan Mehmet (FSM) Bridge was illuminated early Thursday in the colors of the Brazilian flag to mark the South American country’s 200th independence anniversary.

The FSM Bridge, an iconic point in the city, which has been the scene of color and light shows on seminal days, was lit up in green and yellow, the colors of Brazil’s flag.

The bridge will remain lit until daylight.
