Türkiye’s energy import bill down 32% in November

​​​​​​​Türkiye’s energy import bill decreased by 32% to $5.27 billion in November compared to the same month of 2022, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Friday.

The country’s energy import bill totaled $7.77 billion in November 2022.

The data shows that the overall import bill in November, including energy and other items, totaled $28.91 billion.

At $5.27 billion, energy accounted for 18.22% of the overall import figures in Türkiye in November.

Crude oil imports in November showed a 12.6% increase to 2.96 million tons of crude, compared to 2.63 million tons in November last year.
