Türkiye’s BIST 100 index closes Monday on low note

ANKARA 

Türkiye’s benchmark stock index ended Monday at 10,055.98 points, diving 1.59% from the previous close.

Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 lost 162.60 points from 10,218.58 points at Friday’s close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,350.75, while Brent crude oil sold for around $83.42 per barrel as of 5.56 p.m. local time (1456GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was at 32.2094, the euro/lira exchange rate was at 34.8280, and a British pound traded at 40.4716 liras.
