Türkiye’s BIST 100 flat opening session

ISTANBUL

Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 12,437.59 points, down slightly by 0.05% or 6.32 points.

At Monday’s close, the BIST 100 rose by 1.42% to 12,443.92 points, with a daily transaction volume of 118 billion liras ($2.4 billion).

As of 10.55 am local time (0755GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.1800 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.2870 to the euro, and 65.1300 to the British pound.

The price of an ounce of gold was $4,140.50, while Brent crude futures were trading at $99.9 per barrel.
