Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Monday at 12,689.87 points, up slightly by 0.09% or 11.25 points.
At Friday’s close, the BIST 100 rose by 0.43% to 12,265.98 points, with a daily transaction volume of 114 billion liras ($2.31 billion).
As of 10.50 am local time (0750GMT), exchange rates stood at 49.3370 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 55.3150 to the euro, and 65.3930 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,183.2, while Brent crude futures were trading at $103.8 per barrel.
