Türkiye’s benchmark stock index ended Wednesday at 12,943.19 points, up slightly by 0.08% day by day.
After starting the midweek at 12,916.67 points, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index earned 9.79 points from Tuesday’s close.
The lowest value of the index was 12,824.76, while the daily high was 13,086.15.
The market value of the BIST 100 was around 12.7 trillion Turkish liras ($289.9 billion), with a trading volume of 161 billion liras ($3.66 billion).
A total of 45 stocks on the index rose and 54 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $5,144.90 per ounce, while Brent crude oil sold for $80.15 per barrel as of 6.50 pm local time (1550GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 43.9640, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 51.2140, and the British pound traded for 58.8045 liras.
